Afternoons: Monday to Thursday 15:00–00:00 | Friday 13:00–19:00
Flexibility to work day shift when required is essential.
Days: Monday to Thursday 07:00–16:00 | Friday 07:00–13:00
Are you an experienced production leader looking for a long-term opportunity with genuine progression? We are recruiting for a hands-on Team Leader to join a busy manufacturing environment where you will play a key role in driving production performance, team standards, and operational efficiency.
This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody with strong leadership skills and a mechanical mindset who enjoys working within a fast-paced production environment. The role offers a clear temp-to-perm pathway, with future progression opportunities to take full ownership of the late shift operation.
About the Role
You will be responsible for supporting daily production activities, leading a production team, and ensuring targets, quality standards, and health & safety expectations are consistently achieved. This role requires somebody who can lead by example, remain calm under pressure, and take a proactive approach to problem-solving and team management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a production team to achieve daily production targets
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently
- Support production operations, including machine start-up, shutdown, and troubleshooting
- Monitor workflow and production schedules to meet deadlines
- Handle team-related matters professionally, including performance management where required
- Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards across the production area
- Work closely with management to improve efficiency and productivity
- Support a positive and accountable team culture
- Open and close the site when required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous Team Leader, Supervisor, or management experience within manufacturing or production
- Strong mechanical understanding and experience working with production machinery
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Calm and professional approach under pressure
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
- Hands-on attitude with the ability to support the wider team when needed
- Good organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of biomass systems or similar production processes would be advantageous
