BDS Recruitment are looking for a Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager for a large extra care scheme in Islington.
This is a temp ongoing role to start ASAP which could lead to a permanent appointment at a later date.
Pay rate- £20.76ph PAYE- £26.93ph UMBRELLA
The main role is to provide daily communication with the residents, who live independently within the Scheme, and you will be responsible for assessing resident’s daily needs, and signposting information. There will also be regular welfare checks, health and safety checks on the building and reporting and repairs. You will also assist with rent arrears and day to day tenancy related management.
You must hold an Enhanced DBS check dated in the last 12 months or on the update service.
Criteria:
- Previous experience working as a scheme manager or similar within sheltered housing
- Experience in extra care schemes is advantageous
- Solid IT skills
- Ability to multitask and work within a large site
- Excellent customer service skills
- Confident with rent arrears and tenancy management
